The DAPIN Foundation, in partnership with Rotary Anaco, successfully completed the first phase of the ALAS Program, an initiative aimed at promoting the comprehensive, emotional and educational development of children with high academic potential who are part of the «Infinite Children» program.
The close of this first stage was marked by a special session dedicated to art therapy, a methodology that uses art as a tool to foster emotional expression, creativity and personal development in childhood. During this activity, nine children aged 8 to 11 took part in artistic dynamics designed to stimulate their imagination and strengthen their self-esteem.
The session was led by Jennifer González, who guided the participants through various creative activities that allowed the children to explore new forms of communication and expression while developing fundamental social and emotional skills.
Through this learning space, the participants strengthened key competencies such as leadership, teamwork and creative expression — essential capacities for their personal, academic and social development. These skills not only contribute to their individual growth, but also give them tools to become positive agents within their communities.
This session also marked the close of a cycle of activities carried out during the month dedicated to «Peace and Conflict Resolution», a theme promoted internationally by Rotary that seeks to foster fundamental values such as respect, empathy, dialogue and peaceful coexistence.
Throughout this first phase of the ALAS Program, the participating children had the opportunity to take part in different educational experiences aimed at strengthening their overall development, nurturing both their academic abilities and their
personal and social skills.
The program is part of the social initiatives driven by the DAPIN Foundation, an organization committed to promoting educational opportunities and supporting high-potential children in vulnerable contexts. Through its «Infinite Children» program, the foundation seeks to provide ongoing support to these young talents, contributing to their education and long-term development.
With initiatives like the ALAS Program, the DAPIN Foundation reaffirms its commitment to education, social development and building a future with greater opportunities for new generations. Investing in childhood, promoting values and nurturing talent from an early age is a fundamental investment in the progress of communities.
The success of this first phase is an important step toward continuing to develop spaces for learning, personal growth and leadership that allow these children to unlock their full potential and become protagonists of their community’s future.
