In a world increasingly aware of the climate emergency, achieving sustainable development that balances economic, social and environmental aspects is one of today’s great challenges. At DAPIN (Design and Projects International C.A.), we responsibly embrace our role in this transformation and continue strengthening our commitment to environmental sustainability.
This month, we have taken significant steps in the development of our Environmental Management System (EMS), focused on meeting the requirements of the international standard ISO 14001.
Key actions in the development of the EMS
Progress on the project has included:
- Detailed analysis of the environmental regulations applicable to our operations.
- Identification of potential environmental emergency situations and development of action plans to control them.
- Assessment of environmental aspects and impacts associated with our activities.
- Design of strategies for the proper management of industrial and operational waste.
These actions will make it possible to establish annual environmental objectives and define an environmental performance monitoring plan that drives continuous improvement and minimizes the ecological impact of our operations.
Next goal: ISO 14001 certification
Full implementation of DAPIN’s Environmental Management System and obtaining ISO 14001 certification en June 2024. This certification will strengthen our capacity to operate with environmental responsibility, meeting the highest international standards.
